Choosing the right LED wall
for your church
Six things worth knowing before you choose, explained in plain words.
Pixel pitch sets how close people can sit
Pixel pitch is the space between the tiny lights on the wall, in millimeters. The smaller the number, the closer the lights, and the sharper the picture looks up close.
Match the shape of your content
Most videos, cameras and slides are 16:9. A wall close to that shape shows them full screen. Wider walls work too; the content just gets arranged differently.
Bright enough for your room
A sanctuary with windows needs more brightness than a dark auditorium. The wall can be dimmed to match your lighting and your cameras.
Why it matters on camera
Refresh rate is how often the wall redraws the picture. When you livestream or use IMAG, a higher rate helps avoid flicker and lines on camera.
The brain of the wall
The video processor takes the signal from your computer or video switcher and sends it to every panel, so the whole wall shows one picture.

It mostly depends on how close your first row sits to the wall. As a starting point: P1.86 from about 6 ft, P2.6 from about 8.5 ft and P3.9 from about 13 ft. We confirm it after looking at your room.

Resolution comes from the number of panels. For example, a wall of 10 × 6 AlturaLED P2.6 panels is 1920 × 1152 pixels.
